Over 215 miles so far.......

Today was our 48th walk since we starting our challenge to WALK EVERY STREET IN YUCAIPA.  We have logged over 215 miles and feel that we are of 75% of the way to completing this journey.  For those of you that have asked...... YES, we will be tackling the City of Calimesa next!!!

Today's walk started at Forest Oaks & Fifth Street.  We heading south on Fifth, past the golf course, Queen Bean Cafe, the Library and the old Police Station.  After waiting for the green light to cross Yucaipa Blvd (abiding by the traffic laws) we continued down Fifth Street, through a couple of mobile home parks, down a few cul-de-sacs and ended our route on Sixth Street and Avenue E.

Tomorrow we'll be walking along 2nd Street between Avenue E and Wildwood Canyon Road.  Lots of side streets and mobile home parks along this route.  If you want to start your weekend off with a vigorous 8 mile walk, meet us at 7:00am at 1st Street and Avenue E.

Thank you Nicole Lemos and Barbara Costello for joining us!!!
